Girls and Cell phones

There are girls and then there are their strange habits.

Some funny guys whom we call intellectuals from our past say we can get to know about a person from their habits. I learned an interesting lesson from girls and got to know a lot about them.

I am sure we all have dropped our phone and probably would have damaged it also (but some of us are lucky ones and use Nokia). But have you noticed that a girl drops her phone more frequently than the guys....i mean the real guys. They do lot of other funny and weird things as well, as most of us will agree, like putting their cellphones in the back pocket of their trousers (i mean dude does it makes sense....oh crap i forgot i am talking about girls).....don't even spare skirts also.

I was wandering aimlessly, of course as usual, after my office hours and i saw a girl.....u can say in mini skirts as most of us would prefer that way, crossing the busy road and continuously talking on the phone and guess what she drops her cellphone. Out of nowhere she suddenly drops her phone while talking on it......man can you imagine that.....no no no don't try, this may be injurious to health. Seeing the incident involving a girl and a cellphone i recalled the previous one i saw the same day in my office, which made me to write this article (or after reading this you may would like to call it a piece of shit :) never know)

So basically i recalled all these women made calamities (we have to sympathise with the cellphone yaar) which occurred during my college days and after so much of brainstorming I have got some interesting findings to share.

First of all, girls are very careless, as it shows from their habit of consistently dropping their phone (no one should argue on this....girls themselves are aware of it)

Secondly, keeping mobile phones in the back pocket shows how obsessive they are about themselves and would not let go any opportunity to oppress others.....in this case mobile phone has to bear all the heat.

Some girls simply want to take good advantage of this peculiar trait or we can say property, like chemical ones we studied in chemistry, by dropping and continuously damaging their phone in order to get a new one and that too without getting under the radar of their parents. This also shows they are very smart (even though only sometimes their mind wakes up and says lets do some exercise)

If a girl who is not so good looking drops her phone in middle of a crowded place....dont even think she is careless...its just a way of attracting some eyeballs . But if some sexy, hot and gorgeously good looking girl drops her phone and she is alone then its just her way to attract some eye that too with the balls (you can hit on her but proceed cautiously and don't blame this blog if some untoward incident happens).

So these were my findings after about seeing hundreds of girls doing the same thing and in same fashion over and over again....
If you guys have some interesting ones obviously you can add on it :)

God or Not

Mathematics is great, it can solve the problems which no one can expect in their wildest dream. i was studying some great techniques of fantabulous maths and to be true i have stumbled upon an interesting mathematical equation which tells us whether we are moving in a right direction by believing in God's existence or not. I am gonna explain the awesome equation of what happens if we place a bet on God's existence.

So, the expected value of placing a bet on God’s existence can be calculated by the following equation.
(chance of god existing)x(what you win if he exists)+(chance of god not existing)x(what you win if he does not exist).

Now according to probability, chances of God existing are 50:50. I hope everyone agrees on it. The probability of God’s existence is ½
So, if you believe in God, what can you expect to get out of this bet? the above formula now becomes
(1/2 x eternal happiness) + (1/2 x nothing) = eternal happiness

The above arithmetic works out because half of nothing is nothing, but half of something infinite is also infinite. In other word’s, betting on God’s existence is a very good bet because the reward is so fantastic.
Likewise, if the chance of God existing is only a hundredth, the formula becomes
(1/100 x eternal happiness) + (99/100 x nothing) = eternal happiness

Again, the rewards of believing that God exists are phenomenal, since one hundredth of something infinite is still infinite. It follows that however small the chance of God existing, the gamble of believing will bring an infinite return. We have come down a complicated route and reached a very obvious conclusion.

So all the non believers, beware !!!!!

Dude there is no point in not believing God’s existence. If there is a chance even if it means 1/200th or 1/10000th of existence of God, then definitely you guys are going to hell. And if he doesn’t exist, its well and good no loss at all. No one is coming back to earth and saying hey look! I said there is no god up there.

Isn't it awesome......

Love, Seduction and Betrayal - Part II

DISCLAIMER: All the characters in this story are for real (name changed) and any coincidence with any living creature is purely intentional but not meant to hurt someone's feeling. If someone feels bad, I dont have any responsibility. On the demand of one of the main character I am writing this story.
Based on True Events

PART II

Again the doorbell which has brought them back into the world of reality from their land of dreams. Ashmi as irritated as a Beethoven lover from Akon with the doorbell, pulls Vinod’s blanket and orders him to open the door. He was pretending to be asleep but a true lover knows what his or her love interest is up to, Ashmi kicks his butt hard and then half asleep Vinod walked towards the door. He opened the door and looked outside, there stand a big, tall, fat guy with a long moustache and French beard. He was looking like a pure telugu villain starring in a romantic thriller in which he has three or four rape scenes. But in real life he was the landlord of Vinod and Ashmi’s flat. Seeing landlord so early in the morning, his senses came to work, but without waiting for vinod to say something landlord gave him an envelope and informed him that he received it yesterday only and left as if he was in a hurry for a pending rape scene with a beautiful actress as his victim.

Vinod closed the door turned back and crashed straight into his bed. Ashmi after an hour wakes up and opens the envelope, she reads it and again and then third time as slowly and carefully as possible. She was not able to believe that she finally got placed and that too in ITC. After the news and the good feeling sank into her, she bursts into tears. Finally after so muchof hard work, after going through so much of pain and number of interviews she was able to say that she is placed now. Ashmi kissed her partners forehead, after all he was also going through this ordeal and helped her in searching for vacancies at different organizations, and this time gently wakes him up.

In this age of Information technology, it was Orkut and Facebook who got this news first and through them the rest of the world.  Now it was celebration time and they made it a grand spectacle. Every classmate was invited to the dinner party at Hilton hotel, Hyderabad a five star international hotel chain which is owned by hotel heiress Paris Hilton. The whole night they celebrated like there is no tomorrow, free of every worry and in hope of a grand successful career in front of them.

Next morning was as usual, the doorbell, the butt kick and the man at the door but this time no envelope no letter, a man with two packets of milk. Ashmi was making tea for Vinod when it stuck that she has not informed her family about getting the job. Vinod and Ashmi was in a live in relationship and she was so happy and busy celebrating with Vinod that she forgot to tell her mother, with whom she usually talks more than one time in a day. But there was one problem the location was Nepal, though it was much closer to her home, nonetheless a difficult task to convince her parents. It was Vinod again who came to rescue her from this situation. Vinod was her family’s blue eyed boy and Ashmi’s family was well aware of their romance at least her sisters and mother if not her father. Vinod was somehow able to convince her parents but he himself was not convinced of sending Ashmi to Nepal because then they have to live separately and he was not ready to get separated from his benevolent love. Throughout the celebrations he was not able to get his thoughts away from this very fact.

London Olympics 2012

The countdown for London Olympics 2012 have begun and in a latest Olympic related events the Organising Committee of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games has unveiled 12 official posters. The posters are created by some of the most renowned artistes of UK such as Fionna Banner, Martin Creed and Tracey Amin.

It’s a tradition for cities to unveil posters for celebrating the hosting of the games since 1912. Well I was going through the posters and I find some of them very interesting and some very bizarre.

Here are the posters which are unveiled in London yesterday.

This poster is by Sarah Morris and she called it Big Ben 2012. Poster depicts the clock tower Big Ben in true Olympic spirit with arrows and bows (if you look closely)

2.

The poster is called Birds 2012 and is designed by award winning artist Tracey Emin. This is one masterpiece in my opinion because it is inspired by the participants of Paralympics and their will to succeed in any condition.

3.

This poster is called Love 2012 and is created by Bob and Roberta Smith. It says something unique about Olympics that despite being fierce rivalry in winning the game, at the end its love which takes over its course in the games.

4.

The poster is created by Anthea Hamilton and is called “Divers”. Don’t know what to say about it J

5.

This is a poster by Gary Hume and he named it rings. I don’t know but he is saying this depicts Olympic Games coming to London (only artists can understand so easy in design but yet so complicated, we did these things during our NIFT projectsJ). The big circle at the bottom depicts the wheel of a wheel chair and the small black colour circle is a tennis ball (both are not circles….I don’t know why they call themselves artists lol)

6.

This one is by Michael Craig martin and is called “Go”. Well its so easy to make …I think NIFTians would have done a better job. By the way the poster represents all the thrill experienced by racers and by audiences when the race is about to start.

7.

Now this is what I find weird. This one is designed by one of the leading artists of the world named Howard Hodgkin. He called this poster “Swimming”. Almost all of us have done this in our childhood, probably didn’t knew it has so much of potential. I looked the poster closely very closely but I was not able to find out any figure but in his explanation of the poster Howard said if you will look closely you will find out a figure emerging out of water. Now where is the water dude ?????

8.

By Martin Creed called work No. 1273. Representing podium of the winner and much more. He does not give the explanation about “much more”. So I am blank on this matter.

9.

This is no rocket science. Poster is called rings by Rachel whiteread and is inspired by the Olympic rings and as well as from the bottle marks which are left behind in the stadiums by spectators. (Remember these posters are from world famous artistes)

10.

Hahahaha this one is called “Rose Rose” by Bridget Riley and he is also an award winning artist. The coloured lines represent the direction of the Olympic swimming lanes and the athletics track. How don’t know, which directions don’t know. Probably they are famous because they do call these things an art work.

11.

It is “superhuman” by Fiona Banner. She is giving tribute to participants of Paralympics through her poster. And if you look closely enough you will find a paralymic cyclist. I am tired of looking closely now. Tell me if you guys find it.

12.

This one is called “Unknown runner” and is created by Chris Ofili. He is not depicting any of the participant but the common people he find running outside looking through his window. I doubt these kind of creatures exist in London and if they exist then why they call these creatures common people.

Hope you guys would have understand the meaning of all the posters (I didn’t).
These images have been circulated to Queen of the Royal museum and all the leading museums of Britain.

In Time - Where Time Is Power

*from upcoming-movies.com
Well after a long time Hollywood has come up with a new thrilling Sci fi "In time". I was getting bored and without having any choices to select a movie I had to watch "in time". But to my delight its an awesome thriller starring Justin Timberlake (who somewhat now started to act). Here is my account of one of the great movies of recent times.

In time is a brilliantly narrated Sci fi with high adrenaline car chases, action sequences and a thrilling story. The movie depicts a world never seen before in the history of cinema. A world where time is currency and being immortal is hardly a fantasy.

The sci fi movie will take you to the world where ageing stops at 25. If you have to live beyond 25 you have to buy time, an easy job for millionaire who has lots of currency.

Justin Timberlake plays the role of Will Salas, a poor guy struggling to live beyond 25. But his life takes a U turn when he met Henry Hamilton, a super rich in terms of time currency. Henry willingly gives the time currency to Salas because he saved Henry’s life in a fight. Due to some unexpected turn of events Henry decides to die the next day after meeting Salas.

The story gets a twist when Justin Timberlake, suddenly having lot of Time currency in his hands, is being hunted down by Time keepers and Intelligence agencies for the murder of Henry Hamilton. The sci fi flick moves with high speed action sequences and an interlaced love story which goes parallel and is well narrated.

Director Andrew Niccol has been successful in highlighting the growing disparity between rich and poor. It also poses questions on resource exploitation by super rich and the theory of survival of the fittest.

Acting of all the characters has been good especially Cillian Murphy, who with his unique negative persona on screen has made the character much more thrilling. But I personally feel casting could have been better. The movie is more like a Christopher Nolan flick and instead of Justin Timberlake, Leonardo Dicaprio is the obvious choice.

By the way, the movie has freshness in its concept and the way director approached the concept is delighting. It’s a must watch for all those hard core thriller junkies and a great treat for action lovers.

My ratings 3.75/5

PS- rajanikant gautam, a must watch for you dude (with Hindi translation ).

Love, Seduction and Betrayal

DISCLAIMER: All the characters in this story are for real (name changed) and any coincidence with any living creature is purely intentional but not meant to hurt someone's feeling. If someone feels bad, I dont have any responsibility. On the demand of one of the main character I am writing this story.
Based on True Events

PART 1

He was running like there was nothing in the world which can stop him. His eyes fixed at the door of the coach S2 where Ashmi was leaning outside so that she can help Vinod in boarding the train. It was a scene straight out of a pure Bollywood flick where hero tries to catch the train at the last moment to meet his heroine and tell her how much he loves her.

It was during the end of February when winter was slowly turning old and summer was knocking at the door, the campus placements of NIFT was going on. Vinod was late because his interview was scheduled at the very last moment and finally when he was done with his interview he realized that if he has to board the train he has to hurry up and seeing the traffic of Bangalore it was almost as impossible as time traveling.

It was mission accomplished for him when Vinod reached Yeswantpur railway station. When he was passing through the metal detector, his eyes caught hold of the display board which was displaying the platform number and time of departures of the scheduled trains. He was running in desperation again because the platform from where he has to board the train was at the extreme end and it was almost departure time for the train.

Finally Ashmi caught hold of Vinod’s hand and somehow was able to pull him on the train. Vinod was his longtime boyfriend from last four years. Their love began in the first semester of the college when they both worked on a same project assigned by their faculty. They both were tailormade for each other, it was almost like sachin for cricket, maradona for football, Osama for terrorism, Ashmi for Vinod.

He was completely exhausted and after a sigh of relief  of being on the train he took his seat next to his friend Vicks. Vinod’s other friends was also traveling to Chennai because the next phase of placements has to be held at NIFT Chennai centre. Ashmi and his friends has finished their interviews before Vinod and they left early fearing the condition of traffic to reach railway station. Vinod being one of the top rankers of the class had a very good chance of getting selected for the job as his interview went well, and he somehow had the gut feeling that he will get selected for this job. That is why he waited a little longer for his turn and after giving the interview also he waited for results.

While returning from the campus and on the way to railway station his mobile screen flashed. He curiously picked his phone and draws the mobile closer to his eyes, to his amusement it was a call from the faculty of Bangalore who was incharge of the placements. Vinod picked up the call and speaking as politely as possible he said hello. The voice on the other side of the speaker said: Vinod you have been selected for the job in ABC company. As soon as he heard these words his heart pumped, part in amazement and part in excitement of getting the job. He inquired about Ashmi and his friends results but none of them were selected.

As vinod now had a job in his hand, need not to go to Chennai for next placements, but his girlfriend Ashmi has to go if she needs a job. Being a perfect couple and almost like giving a complement to ashmi, Vinod didn’t even thought once before rushing to the station. They say love is blind and blindly he followed ashmi to Chennai.
The coach was half empty and leaving vinod’s group there were hardly 10 people in the entire coach. As soon as he acquired his seat, ashmi and vicks asked him What was the result, as if they were making a symphony or a rhyme together. Vinod looked directly into the eyes of Ashmi and she knew there is some bad news. He told he was selected but others were not including his love Ashmi.

Ashmi’s heart thumped she didn’t knew what to do, to celebrate the success of Vinod or to mourn her failure. She hugged him very tightly and vinod knew everything is not all right, he told her you have opportunity ahead as everything is not lost there are rounds of placements have to be attended at different centres. Ashmi wiped her tears as others came to congratulate Vinod for his selection. Atleast vinod got the job and it was half the job done for the couple and Ashmi was very happy for Vinod and now that it was his job to get her a placement.

Flamboyant Gadhafi

The death of Gadhafi, flamboyant, self proclaimed king of kings of Africa brings the end of a brutal 42 year regime. But how come he was able to hold a football crazy nation into his grips for 42 years, exploiting and destroying its immense oil reserves, simultaneously killing and torturing the innocent citizens.

The answer is same, as in the cases of most of the brutal dictators in the past and in the present, living and flourishing in Middle East. Without the support of western governments for a long period of time he would not have been able to hold his fort for so long. His death is a welcome relief for the western governments, which supported him as long as it suited there concerns and causes. Now gadhafi gone, the road is clear for the oil companies, who were eyeing and lining for the libya’s immense oil reserves.

With NATO and western backed government seated at the heart of the oil rich nation, its easier now for companies which govern and regulate the crude oil businesses around the world, to loot and exploit the oil reserve for their benefits and that too on their own terms.

Classic Example Of Exploitation
As long as gadhafi was alive, he tried to unite whole of Africa under one umbrella and because of his immense lobbying African union acquire a new meaning and was somewhat coming to picture. He was a leader who always took stand sometimes against its own people. As long as he was serving the purpose of western governments, they put a blind eye to the plight of the Libyan people. If he would have been captured, his trial would have surely reveal the fraudulent and murky deals of some of the biggest oil companies, mainly from USA and Europe.

Gadhafi was a maniac, as we all know, but he was a brave colonel who overthrew the Libyan King’s regime and took control of the power 42 years ago. He was revolutionary in nature, he tried to bring many changes in the Libyan economy and in the process got succumbed to the luring power and raining money. He was a strong defiant character, making mockery of USA and its policies by openly supporting Hamas and by working towards united Palestinian goal. once famously he tore down the manual of UN security council and named it as a terrorist council while addressing the UN annual assembly. Lately,  He was becoming a thorn for the west with his backing of IRA Palestinians and other causes throughout the world. The west has finally got what it wanted.

His reign was marked by sudden and brave policy changes, which according to the conditions were designed to protect his regime from foreign as well as internal conflicts. In early 2000 he did a U turn by announcing that libya will comply by the rules of IAEA and will cooperate with security council for nuclear proliferation in Libya.

During one of his recent televised video he said he will fight till the end, will never leave Libya until he died. He will die or he will burn his rivals under Tripoli. True to his words, he stayed and faught until the end and died in Libya. Covering behind their forces would Obama, sarkozy or Cameroon would have remained in their respective cities , if those cities were about to yield to the overwhelming military might of foreign backed forces? These are people who kill with unmanned drones from far away bases in the US and UK and label civilian deaths as collateral damage.

With gadhafi gone so is the threat of the leader who wanted to cement African unity, challenge the hegemony of dollar and assert control over africa’s resources. For too long, western imperialism has gorged itsef on plundering africa’s abundance of natural resources. If western powers can stop Libya disintegrating under the yoke of factionalism, as a result of conflict among the forces that it helped put together in order to oust gadhafi, then its business as usual for US and its allies once again.

For Ra One "Haters"

If I say Ra one opened with mixed reviews from the audiences and critics, it will be highly exaggerated statement. The movie was blasted by so called critics and by most of the audiences as well. Ra one received the most number of negative tweets on twitter probably a record.

But guess what SRK has made Ra one a legend. The movie succeeded so much in the first five days that it created a record by collecting more than 160 crores in India as well as abroad. It is a record by a bollywood movie to have collected so much of gross collection in its first release weekend.

Salman khan fans can cheer that Ra one was not able to break the record for the highest opening day which Bodyguard has set. But SRK with his marketing wonders has made Ra one a film which has got highest collection in a single day.

Now talking about the movie, it does not boast of a great storyline but the SFX in the movie is way beyond the reach of Indian cinema till now. New york times in its review said the movie is set to dazzle and LA times proclaimed RAone as bollywood at its best. But we don’t know what happened with the guys back home. We have to understand it’s a movie for entertainment it cannot be Pather Panchali of Indian cinema.

So how does the movie succeeded without a great storyline and a solid script. The fact of the matter is SRK is really King Khan of Bollywood. Any movie can succeed with a great script and good performances of actors (leave alone Mr. perfect Amir who always had a good subject with great treatment on screen). But succeeding without any substance, it can only be done by the King Khan of Bollywood.

He probably knew that movie does not have a good story, just a simple superhero with a tinge of father-son relationship was not enough to turn 150 crore venture into profit. But the businessman in SRK did what he does best, marketed himself. With a 360 degree campaign and giving an overdose of ra one to the media, he made sure that his most staunch haters (including me) also go to theatres atleast once for seeing how the movie performs whether it delivers on expectations or not.

SRK admits he is an entertainer and will not hesitate to perform at marriage ceremonies also for entertaining and money (wish our government admits the problems as SRK does). That’s the simplicity of a man who is prononunced as KING of Bollywood. With such ease and simplicity he got his money back even before the movie released. He sold distribution rights to Eros, television rights, music rights to India’s leading business houses and got around 120 crore. With his tie ups with more than 50 brands (which is also a record by a bollywood movie) he got around 60 crores by the endorsements which included Mcd, Volkswagen, Force India to name a few.

With ra one he once again proved he is a master and skillfull businessman (if not a great actor). Its raining money for the promoters and producers of Ra one now. With his successful venture he now moves forward for Don 2 which is directed by one of the India’s most talented personality Farhan Akhtar. With this deadly combination, I assure you guys, he doesnot even have to spend a penny on marketing for a successful release.
